The rules for using psychprofile, including the medical disclaimer that applies to every test we publish.
Last updated: 29 April 2026
Our tests are educational and self-reflection tools, not medical assessments. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
psychprofile is not a medical provider. Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, or mental-health advice. No result is a diagnosis.
Some of our tests are modelled on published research instruments that are widely used in psychology but are not clinical screeners. The attachment-style test, for example, is modelled on the Experiences in Close Relationships (ECR) scale, a self-report measure used in research and self-reflection. It is not a diagnostic or clinical screening tool.
Other tests are modelled on validated clinical screening instruments (for example, the ASRS for ADHD, the PHQ-9 for depression, the GAD-7 for anxiety, and the MDQ for bipolar spectrum). A clinical screening instrument is designed to flag whether a professional conversation might be worthwhile. It is not the same as a diagnostic assessment conducted by a qualified clinician, and we do not present it as one.
The Autism Traits Profile is an owner-authored self-reflection tool. It is not modelled on the AQ-10 or any other validated clinical screening instrument. Band thresholds are owner-defined and descriptive, not clinical cut-offs.
Do not use a psychprofile result to start, stop, or change any treatment. Do not use a result in place of a conversation with a qualified professional. If something in your results worries you, speak with a clinician, counsellor, or your regular doctor.
If you are in crisis or at risk, psychprofile is not the right place. Please find a helpline in your country or contact an emergency service.
psychprofile ("we", "us") operates psych-profile.com. These terms cover every page, test, blog post, and API endpoint served from that domain.
By using psychprofile, you agree that you will not:
When you submit a review, a contact-form message, or any other content to us, you keep ownership of it and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, edit for length or clarity, and use that content on our site and in our communications.
You can ask us to remove your content at any time via the contact form.
Test questions, scoring, site copy, design, and code are ours (or our licensors') unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page. You may not republish substantial portions of our content without permission.
Where a test is modelled on a published research instrument (the ECR, ASRS, PHQ-9, GAD-7, MDQ, among others), the underlying instrument is the work of its original authors and is cited on the relevant test page.
We link to third-party resources (helplines, research papers, news sources) for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
psychprofile is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or the results of using any test. Tests are educational tools and are not guaranteed to reflect any particular clinical or real-world outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, psychprofile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or its content, including any decision you make on the basis of a test result. None of this limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
We will update these terms when the service materially changes and bump the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms do not limit any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country of residence. Where a specific governing law applies to any dispute, it will be determined by your country's applicable rules of private international law.
